Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
8-Week Virtual Workshop Series
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an instructor-led program that guides you in practices to better manage stress, illness, and chronic pain. Learning to practice MBSR can help you bring your mind back to the present moment – a key part of reducing stress and managing pain. Join us in this 8-week series to explore meditation and yoga practices – all within a supportive community – and create space for more healing, vitality and joy amongst the demands and stressors of daily life.
Sessions
will be offered Wednesday evenings starting on January 12, 2022.

Zoom Classes
will run from January 12 - March 2, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:30 PM EST.

All Day Retreat
will be held on February 20, 2022 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST.

MBSR Orientation
8-Week Virtual Workshop Series
This orientation is a required prerequisite for the MBSR program.
By the end of this orientation session, you will have come away with a solid understanding of what to expect by taking the 8-week MBSR program. Topics covered include the origins of MBSR, the weekly format and guidelines of MBSR, definitions of Mindfulness and Meditation, and the first-hand experience of practicing mindfulness in this session.

Guided Meditation and Tapping
6-Week Virtual Series
Mindfulness and Tapping (EFT) are powerful tools for reducing stress and anxiety. Join us in this 6-week series to practice mindfulness and tapping systematically to rewire your brain for resilience. In each session, we will engage in practices of mindfulness, gentle yoga and tapping along with supportive group discussion and writing reflection exercises.

March 25, 2022. Classes meet for 6 Fridays from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST

Monthly Guided Meditation Sessions
Free monthly guided 45 meditation sessions with 30 minutes of meditation and 15 minutes of discussion.
Mindfulness is a powerful tool for reducing stress, increasing mental focus, and improving your health and well-being. During these stressful times, it is critically important that we take good care of ourselves. The good news is that we can use the practice of mindfulness to build our mental and physical resilience.
